In China there is a famous tea house that to get to all it takes is a walk up a dizzying amount of stairs, a gondola ride, and a mountain climb. Yes, you have to scale the side of a thousand foot mountain, cross precarious wooden walkways, and more to get this tea. Once you reach the south peak of Mt. Huashan you’ll find the tea house, which was formerly a taoist temple. It is not renowned for its tea, but simply for the experience of getting there. The point is the journey so don’t use a jetpack or hover boots, because that would be cheating. Take a look at this video and get a small taste of what the climb is like.
